I demand a full and independent investigation into the mass graves discovered in northern Gaza.
There is evidence of extrajudicial executions—human beings found stripped of their clothing and their hands tied.
Furthermore, at this time, there are rumors that bodies were moved from their temporary grave sites (temporary, as there was no safe way to bury them safely). Who moved them? Why? If they’ve been moved, how are their loved ones supposed to find them again? I don’t know about you, but I certainly wouldn’t want my grandmother to be dug up from her resting place and toss into a mass unmarked grave.
This, on top of every other heinous act committed against the Palestinian people in the last SIX MONTHS, is salt on the wound.
We deserve to know what happened here. The full scope of this atrocity must be investigated and the perpetrators brought to justice.
