Through Project 2025, Heritage is organizing a government takeover — installing loyalists, defunding civil rights enforcement, purging federal employees, and rewriting the Constitution — all while pretending to be a nonprofit charity. Their crimes are not hypothetical. They are lying, manipulative con men robbing America of life and liberty. Here’s what we know — and why it’s a red flag: • Heritage president Kevin Roberts made nearly $1 million in 2023, including a $300K bonus. That’s not public service — that’s grift. • 18 of 19 top-paid execs refuse to disclose their net worth or outside interests, despite massive influence over public policy. That’s a corruption risk. • Their Oversight Project has targeted public employees, journalists, and critics with smear campaigns. That’s intimidation, not policy. • Co-founder Ed Feulner ran a for-profit firm for foreign governments while shaping U.S. policy. That’s foreign influence hiding in plain sight. • Project 2025 recruits and installs partisan operatives into federal jobs — a direct violation of nonprofit law. They’re abusing tax-exempt status to launder dark money, evade oversight, and rewrite the future in secret. Congress must act now: • Hold public hearings and demand testimony from Heritage leaders. • Require full disclosure of executive pay and financial conflicts. • Refer Heritage to the IRS for revocation of 501(c)(3) status. • Pass legislation to end this abuse of charitable law.
