This ban includes puberty blockers, surgeries, and hormone replacement therapy. The bill specifically allows an exception for "corrective" procedures for intersex traits. Violations are considered unprofessional conduct by a medical professional and subject to disciplinary action. I urge you to reject this discriminatory measure that would endanger some of our most vulnerable youth by denying transgender young people access to essential, potentially life-saving medical care. All children deserve access to comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare free from political interference.
