While I appreciate the efforts WA state has shown opposing Trump administration overreach, his failure to comply completely with court orders so far indicates to me that states will need to make plans for more aggressive actions. I hope that you are looking to determine the most effective state level leverage to pull if Trump’s defiance of our constitution and the rule of law continues or escalates. This will need to done in coordination with other state governments if it is to be effective. I hope you are already in dialogue with those governments.
