Your responses are tone deaf. Democracy is facing its greatest threat since the founding, and your responses to your constituents concerns are at best tone deaf, and at worse, show how out of touch you are. You claim to be an independent voice, yet you refuse to acknowledge the real harm being done by the magas in power. Our neighbors with trans kids are afraid for their health care, for their ability to travel, for their ability to use the bathroom when out in public or at school. Some of them who applied for passports before the change in administration have now received them back and they indicate a gender that doesn't match who they are. This is not partisan politics, as you say it is in your letters back to constituents. We will not fix this by volunteering to coach little league. These are illegal actions by a would-be dictator. No matter your party, this concerns us all and we need you to stand up to defend democracy, not tout your efforts on right to repair. I am in favor of right to repair, by the way. But right now, when facing massive maga threat to democracy as well as the ongoing climate disaster, we need you to be a voice for all of us, including those being attacked by the magas. Wake up.
