An Open Letter

To: Sen. Cotton, Rep. Westerman, Sen. Boozman

From: A constituent in Hot Springs National Park, AR

June 9

It is frightening me that our country feels like it is being led by a dictator instead of a president, that racist violence is turning into daily reality. Our country appears to be warring within itself more than I've ever witnessed. I'm disgusted by our leadership not standing up for what is morally good. I'm proud of the leaders who will not back down, though, and who say what needs to be said. I beg you to stand up for humanity. I beg you to remember the families who need your help. I beg you to leave a legacy that leaves our home a better place. Please don't forget the people who need you most.
