ICE agent attempting to breach the Ecuadorian consultant

To: Sen. Scott, Sen. Graham, Rep. Wilson

From: A verified voter in North Augusta, SC

January 28

Today and ICE agent attempted to go into the Ecuadorian consulate. He was trying to follow in people seeking refuge there. ICE and CBP agents continue to show that they either are ignorant of the laws of this country or they are willfully defying them. This goes further than just causing harm to people in Minneapolis. This could have sparked a massive international incident. Congress must reign in all officers working in immigration enforcement and boarder protection. There must be legal accountability for their illegal actions. There must be an insistence that these agents are trained properly and are following the law. Current funding should be garnished and further funding withheld until we can guarantee that these agents aren't violating the rights of immigrants and citizens. We must demand transparency. No more hiding behind masks. The public has the right to know who is operating in their streets. They deserve to know who to report if their rights are being violated. It's time to act now!
