Reject arbitrary cannabis criminalization, enact sensible drug policy reforms

SB443 aims to regulate THC levels in marijuana, which would essentially cripple Montana's legal cannabis industry and drive consumers back to the unregulated black market. This heavy-handed approach undermines the intent of legalization and threatens the livelihood of legal businesses operating within the regulated system. Rather than arbitrarily restricting THC content, a smarter policy would provide reasonable regulation that allows the legal market to thrive and disincentivizes the underground drug trade. I urge you to reject SB443 as it would kill the industry and push consumers toward more dangerous illegal sources.
