We are at war with Iran today because Donald Trump blew up the Iran nuclear deal in 2018. The JCPOA was working - it severely capped Iran’s enrichment, slashed its uranium stockpile, disabled key reactors, and put inspectors on the ground, keeping Iran at least a year or more from bomb‑grade material. Trump tore it up, promised a “better deal” he never produced, and Iran predictably rebuilt its program, racing ahead to 60 percent enrichment and advanced centrifuges. Now, Trump will be very lucky to be able to negotiate back to JCPOA, but likely will get less. Can you acknowledge that tearing up the JCPOA was a major error?
