So, I just read that you will support confirmation of Todd Blanche as Attorney General. What a disappointment. Your reasoning makes no sense to me. You say you have reservations but you think he would be better positioned to push back against Mr. Trump’s norm-busting demands than an alternative. What has he pushed back against? The letter he wrote about backing away from the $1.8 billion slush fund and the minimal changes to the IRS agreement are not binding. The American people aren’t fools. We understand it. It’s not too late for you to change your mind about this and redeem part of your legacy.
