Reject FBI nominee Patel, investigate alleged perjury and purge
To: Sen. Kim, Rep. McIver, Sen. Booker
From: A constituent in Jersey City, NJ
February 11, 2025
Kash Patel's alleged perjury and role in the purge of senior FBI officials for political vengeance is a blatant abuse of power and assault on the rule of law. His potential nomination as FBI Director poses a grave threat to the integrity of our justice system and democratic institutions. The urgent need for a full investigation into these disturbing allegations cannot be overstated. Patel's actions demonstrate a disqualifying lack of ethics and respect for the principles the FBI is sworn to uphold. He must not be confirmed. The American people deserve leaders committed to truth and justice, not partisanship and retaliation against those who upheld their oath. Patel's nomination jeopardizes public faith in law enforcement and enables the corrosion of our most sacred values. His confirmation would deal a devastating blow to government accountability and the bedrock ideal of equal justice under the law.
