Around Iowa today people are protesting. They are protesting the president, they are protesting DOGE, and they are protesting the illegal, illogical, and illicit things YOU are allowing to happen. Innocent people are being sent to other countries "by mistake" without trials, hearings, or cause, and with no hope of return. Our federal agencies and institutions are being gutted by force with no care at all for the effects on the people of this country. Stupid and illogical "math" is being applied that has caused and will continue to cause damage to the country's economy that will not be easily repaired. $6.4 Trillion dollars... The rich people you want to give tax breaks to don't care because even a hundred million dollars to them is like a single grain of sand in a sand castle. They won't even notice. They are out golfing while the people in this country you represent are out in the streets. These are your constituents, those of us in the streets, those of us emailing, faxing, and mailing you day after day. We are your voters. We see your part in this. We see you sitting there enabling the dismantling of our democracy. These protests around Iowa, around the country, and around the world are to make sure you see us. To make sure you hear us. We are asking you to act. Act as swiftly as they are, because pretty soon, you won't be able to. The administration is making sure you won't be able to. And you are giving them that power. You need to stand up and stop DOGE, Musk, and Trump. Legislate, vote, impeach. Do something or be prepared to step out of the way. Because we will vote and find people who represent the people and not only the rich ones.
