Protect workers' rights, oppose abolishing OSHA

I urge you to firmly oppose the proposed Nullify the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (NOSHA) Act (H.R.86). Abolishing OSHA would gravely endanger the health and safety of millions of American workers across the nation. OSHA plays a vital role in establishing and enforcing standards to protect employees from workplace hazards, injuries, and fatalities. Dismantling this crucial agency would remove essential safeguards, potentially leading to disastrous consequences. Workplaces free from recognized hazards are not just a privilege but a fundamental right that all employees deserve. OSHA's existence has significantly improved working conditions and saved numerous lives over the decades. Eliminating it would be a drastic step backward, subjecting workers to unacceptable risks and undermining their well-being. I strongly believe that ensuring safe and healthy workplaces should be a national priority. OSHA's impact extends far beyond individual states, and a comprehensive federal approach is necessary to address workplace safety effectively. I implore you to reject this misguided effort and instead work towards strengthening worker protections, not weakening them. The well-being of our nation's workforce must take precedence over partisan politics or ideological agendas.
