Way to go Ohio, your stupid bigoted, racist, Christian Nationalist higher education destroying SB1 law just cost Youngstown University a potential $100,000 donation. I wonder how many other potential donors are making this decision. Ohio, you are succeeding at nothing except driving residents out of Ohio as fast as possible. A friend is an alumnus of OSU and taught there for over 30 years. He recently got a donation request. He sent the card back in with no contribution. He explained he would no longer be giving because of their recent capitulation to the Trump admin in terms of DEI and the passage of SB1. A grant was recently rescinded because of "diversity". It was a study on the diversity of mitochondria in cells. We have uneducated clowns in charge. I somehow don’t think the people in Columbus care about that because they don’t have the critical thinking skills to look to the fallout of their actions. They just want things their way and they want others to simply fall in line as it gives them a sense of control. Very disappointed with Ohio again.
