Please help me to understand how the United States blockading the Strait of Hormuz will persuade Iran into allowing ships to pass through the Strait. I am especially perplexed by this blockade when the Strait was open and ships were freely transiting the Strait before the United States began military operations against Iran on February 28 of this year. I look forward to learning more about your understanding of this situation.
