Keeping Those Sunny Days
To: Sen. Tillis
From: A verified voter in Cary, NC
July 14
Do you remember your young childhood, where you sang and laughed as Muppets taught you to count, to spell, and to be compassionate towards others?
Your youngest constituents, especially those growing up in lower income situations, rely on public television programs like Sesame Street. They dont have premium TV services like Netflix. And, they need help learning to count, to spell, and to understand what healthy relationships look like.
Before you go into the Senate Chamber to cut both PBS and NPR, please take a moment to sing these words:
🎶 Sunny Day. Sweeping the clouds away. On my way to where the air is sweet. Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sasame Street? 🎶
Follow your heart, Mr. Senator. Follow your heart.
