Canceling Medicaid is an Act of War The decision to cancel Medicaid is an act of war against the American people. Stripping healthcare from millions is not just bad policy. It is a deliberate choice to let people suffer and die. This is not an accident. This is premeditated harm. If you take this action against us, you leave us with no choice but to respond in kind. Intentional Harm to Citizens Medicaid serves 80 million Americans, including children, the elderly, the disabled, and low-income families. Canceling it is not just “cost-cutting.” It is a death sentence for thousands. Diabetics will die without insulin. Cancer patients will suffer through painful, prolonged deaths. Parents will watch their children die of preventable illnesses. If a foreign enemy took an action that knowingly caused this much suffering, it would be called an act of war. Why is it any different when it comes from within? Abandoning the Social Contract A government’s duty is to protect its people. Removing healthcare from millions is an attack, not a policy change. It is the deliberate destruction of lives for political gain. It is the decision to weaponize poverty, suffering, and death against the most vulnerable citizens. When a government chooses to abandon its people, it should expect that the people will abandon it in return. The Economic Devastation Wars create refugees. This will be no different. When people lose access to healthcare, they do not just disappear. They become economically ruined, homeless, and desperate. The financial burden of untreated illness will crash local economies, overwhelm emergency rooms, and increase poverty nationwide. Stripping Medicaid does not just target the poor. It harms working-class families, small businesses, hospitals, and entire state economies. It is economic sabotage, no different than a hostile invasion destroying infrastructure. We Will Respond If you make the decision to cancel Medicaid, understand what you are doing. You are making an enemy of the American people. If you choose to wage war on our survival, do not be surprised when we fight back. Americans will not sit quietly while their government condemns them to suffering and death. You may think this is just politics, but for millions, it is life and death. If you attack us in this way, we will respond in kind— This is not a threat. It is a promise. Attack us at your own risk.
