Please advocate for common sense gun laws. The recent Brown University shooting is yet another horrific and all-too-real example of gun violence in our country. I am scared for my safety because of our lax gun laws and lack of controls around guns getting in the hands of the mentally ill and extremists. Our students - and all citizens — should not have to live in fear of these PREVENTABLE incidents.
