The FBI director's actions in posting a photo of an arrested judge's perp walk raise serious concerns about adhering to established Department of Justice policies. The Confidentiality and Media Contacts Policy has clear guidelines restricting the voluntary disclosure of such photographs, intended to uphold due process and avoid undue prejudice or intimidation of defendants. By disregarding this policy, the FBI director undermined principles of fairness and impartiality expected from the nation's top law enforcement agency. Violations of internal conduct rules erode public trust and credibility. They signal a concerning lack of judgment and accountability at the highest levels. As such, I urge you to take appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including removal from office, to address this breach and reaffirm the DOJ's commitment to ethical standards and equal justice under the law. Clear consequences are necessary to deter future policy violations and uphold the integrity of the criminal justice system. Find your courage and do your job! Speak up before we descend into full blown fascism.
