Stop the Cycle of Division
To: Sen. Lee, Sen. Curtis
From: A constituent in Spanish Fork, UT
January 8
We often hear candidates talk about their "core values," but lately, the most essential values seem to be missing from the conversation: honesty, humility, and unity.
Our current political climate has turned "winning" into a justification for deepening the divide between neighbors. But the role of a leader isn't just to represent a party; it’s to serve the people—all of them.
I am calling on you to stop the cycle of division. Show us that you value the truth more than a talking point. Show us that you are willing to be accountable for your actions and hold others in government (even and especially those in your same party) accountable for their actions. Most importantly, show us that you have a plan to bring us together rather than driving us further apart. We deserve leaders who reflect the best of us, not the loudest of us.
