I’m writing to demand support for Senator Chris Van Hollen over Senator Chuck Schumer for Senate Majority Leader. Schumer has failed in leadership, prioritizing pet projects over opposing the Trump administration’s lawlessness and cruelty. Van Hollen has been at the forefront of fighting the Trump regime's abuses and has earned the right to lead this coming battle. Progressives like El-Sayed cleaned up last night after betrayals from centrists like Rep Haley Stevens. They were team players while being undermined. They nearly won Florida with no help from the national party. I am tired of terrible Democratic Party leadership based on pecking order rather than merit. People voted for change, and it’s time for elected Democrats to listen.
