The budget proposed by the President will destroy scientific research in the United States for at least a generation. I urge you in the strongest possible terms to oppose these crippling cuts to NSF, NIH, NASA, and other scientific agencies. These cuts will cause many thousands of people to lose their jobs, and many thousands of bright young minds will be unable to train as future scientists. The US will lose its preeminent position in the world of science, new discoveries will halt, and Americans will be harmed. Do the right thing-- oppose th is budget.
