The current House Budget before the Senate is an assault on the well-being of the Voters in Your district. The cuts to Medicaid will remove Healthcare for millions of people in North Carolina. Including me. In May 2025, approximately 3.012 million children and adults in North Carolina are enrolled in Medicaid. According to NCDHHS. When you take my coverage, how do you expect me to buy an affordable insurance plan? Are you going to reopen the ACA? I have 2 heart stints. My anti-rejection script is over $$500 each month. My kidneys are damaged. That script to protect them from further damage is over $800. I'm 63 and if I lose this coverage I'll die. I'll never make it to Medicade. I thought the GOP were fiscal conservatives. The Congressional Budget Office said this budget will increase the federal deficit by $3.8 trillion. Your loyalty to a wannabe dictator is unacceptable. You're supposed to be an equal branch of government. You're supposed to represent We The People. Yet you cower before the Orange Jesus and throw us under the bus. Stand up to the bully. To the immoral attacks on the American People and our democracy! VOTE NO on this Big Ugly Budget Bill! You'll save the lives of millions of your constituents like me.
