Not one more cent for DHS. Let the failed experiment end.

To: Rep. Fischbach, Sen. Smith, Sen. Klobuchar

From: A constituent in Marshall, MN

February 12

I write you as a concerned constituent. Concerned is probably a bit of an understatement. The evidence is clear and the polling shows that people want ICE gone. Not reformed. You can’t just ask them to obey the laws they’ve been breaking and call it reform. If the Republicans can gut the department of Education and many more, then you can support your voters by letting DHS disappear. I know it’s chaotic, but it’s the only leverage we have. So I urge you to do one simple thing. Vote against any measure that returns funding to DHS. Not one more cent to the agencies that have proven to be ineffective. It was a failed experiment. Your constituents are being terrorized by an agency that has openly ignored judicial orders. It’s time we stop letting them play “catch and release” with US citizens. This fishing trip has run out of gas. Please vote no every time it comes up. Thank you for your attention to this very urgent matter.
