I know the House is voting today on a rescissions package that would defund Public Broadcasting and several foreign aid programs. I strongly oppose this. Trump is spending 50 million dollars on a military parade and 140 million on an unnecessary and unwanted military escalation in Los Angeles. Cutting spending clearly isn’t a priority to him or to Republicans. I want Rep. Menendez to vote no on rescission please. But Congress should cut funds from Trump’s deportation machine. Immigrants deserve to feel safe in their communities. Thanks.
