A bill passed recently that exempts tip income from taxation. Did you know that employers will often keep their employees tips if the customer includes the tip on a credit card receipt? A good example is the Paws Up Resort by Missoula. I've had more than one employee tell me that Paws Up Keeps their tips (massage therapists). It might make sense to make this practice on the part of employers illegal.
