Passage of HB328 would hemorrhage a plentiful, NC-based economy and restrict access to life changing products for millions of local constituents. Constituents who’ve grown to appreciate the budding industry that has developed here in NC, not only from a consumer perspective but small business and small farmers, too! Livelihoods have been built around this industry, and the bill (as it’s written, specifically in regards to the THC cap per package) would destroy the very infrastructure we constituents survive on. Regulation, yes! But this, as written, is prohibition.
