Alright democratic senators, we’ve stood by you, and you promised to stand by us. But your constituents are past the polite ask. We want action. We want change. We’re done warming up. Let’s go fight like democracy depends on it. (Because it does.) 1. Crush Dark Money, Protect Democracy: Billionaires like Elon Musk dropped $270 million to tilt elections, undermining our party and public trust. It's time to ban super PACs and dark money in primaries, full stop. We need real democracy, not donors calling the shots. 2. Dismantle the Filibuster. Let Democracy Work: The filibuster is gridlock dressed as tradition. It hands one senator veto power over every issue, from climate to immigration. Get rid of it so we can actually pass laws that matter. 3. Back Hard Climate Action or Stop Pretending: The climate crisis isn’t on hold. It's here now. We can't just talk; delay is the same as denial. The U.S. is still bankrolling fossil fuels abroad while science demands a clean-energy pivot starting yesterday. 4. Stop Ghosting Each Other and Show Real Unity: Internal fights and stale leadership are weak. We need coordinated strategy, bold messaging, and fresh leadership rooted in actual values, not endless rehashes. 5. Respond to Assaults on Democracy with Action, Not Words: Texas lawmakers were hunted by the FBI for doing their job. That’s not democracy; that's authoritarian creep. We need actual, functioning protections and offense, not just pats on the back and defense. We’re staring down threats to democracy, Earth, and our moral authority. The time for lukewarm incrementalism is over. • End dark money. • Abolish the filibuster. • Fight climate collapse with bold policy. • Stop internal infighting. • Protect the sanctity of our institutions.
