Democracy is decided by those who show up. Yesterday, on No Kings Day, more Americans showed up than ever. With more than 8 million attendees, it was the biggest day of protest in modern history!
At No Kings Day protests in 17 cities, Donuts + Democracy volunteers spoke with thousands of Americans—young and old—to make sure they were registered to vote, hadn't been purged from the rolls, and knew how to help the young people in their lives get registered too. Look:Yesterday, we gave out 5,000 donuts—and thousands of our signature heart sunglasses—at No Kings Day events in Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Raleigh-Durham, Savannah, Milwaukee, Chicago, Evanston, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Austin, Phoenix, the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Kennebunkport, and Fort Myers.
This huge No Kings Day voter registration push was our biggest one-day voter mobilization event EVER.
But we're just getting started. Our team is working 7 days a week to register, educate, and mobilize young voters to deliver pro-democracy wins in 2026.
