President Trump said the federal government will begin renovating East Potomac Golf Links in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 1. The renovation of the public course is part of Trump's broader effort to reshape the nation's capital through highly visible federal projects and public-space overhauls. What the heck is this administration thinking?! Trump has America in a losing battle with Iran. He has weakened and undermined the US on the world stage. Trump has isolated us from our Allies. Gas prices are up and people are struggling to afford the basics. The American Dream to own a home, be able to afford to have children, and to enjoy the prosperity that comes with hard work is dead. And Trump is renovating a golf course. Has there ever been a bigger "Let them eat cake." moment in US history? Republicans are scared they will lose in the midterms. That is merited.
