Stop using your platform to spread false health information about COVID-19 and to attack Dr. Anthony Fauci. COVID is not over. People are still getting sick, still being hospitalized, and still dying. When you dismiss the science or vilify the scientists, you give your constituents permission to ignore precautions that save lives. What you are doing is also a profound disrespect to everyone who died from this disease and to the families who lost them. Medical workers poured themselves into that fight and came out traumatized — haunted by the sheer number of deaths, by running out of body bags, by wrapping corpses in plastic sheets. They deserve better than a public official treating their sacrifice as a political prop. Correct the record publicly, stop amplifying misinformation, and treat COVID as the ongoing public health crisis it remains. Your job is to protect the people you represent, not to score points by undermining the experts who are trying to do the same.
