I am extremely concerned about the stripping ofUSAID. It’s taken decades for us to build up “soft power” and to become the moral and practical leaders of the world. USAID helps to alleviate poverty and suffering around the globe and these are the values that I believe America needs to stand behind. I urge you to speak out against Elon Musk devastating actions, which will diminish our role and stance in the world.
