I am writing to encourage you to oppose SNAP cuts. The proposed cuts in the budget would be devastating and people will starve. sNAP is a huge benefit re childhood development and education—kids can’t learn and grow if they aren’t fed SNAP is also a massive economic engine—every $1 spent on SNAP generates up to $1.80 in economic activity. Grocery stores rely on SNAP purchases to stay open, and significant SNAP cuts risk job losses in local communities Please oppose the current proposal to cut SNAP funding.
