Stop the Pardon Power Abuse—Protect Our Democracy Now I am writing to demand immediate congressional action to limit the president’s pardon power. Trump’s current pardon attorney, Ed Martin, is actively abusing the system to protect fake electors, domestic terrorists, and political allies—using legal loopholes to reclassify state-level crimes as federal offenses, making them eligible for presidential pardons. This is a deliberate manipulation of justice. Even more disturbing: the former pardon attorney, Rosalind Sargent-Burns, was reportedly fired, threatened, and coerced not to testify to Congress after refusing to approve political pardons. That alone should trigger a full congressional investigation. This is not clemency—it is authoritarian amnesty. These individuals broke the law. The Constitution was not written to shield those who undermine it. I urge you to: • Introduce and support legislation restricting presidential pardon powers in cases involving election interference, insurrection, and public corruption. • Investigate threats and coercion within the DOJ’s pardon office. • Publicly oppose the blanket or preemptive use of pardons to obstruct justice. The American people are watching. Do your duty to uphold the rule of law.
