Refugees deserve notice

To: Rep. Clyburn, Sen. Scott, Sen. Graham Nordone

From: A constituent in Charleston, SC

October 24

Please oppose the new rule that shortens the notice people with refugee status receive before the government terminates their status. Changing the notice from 30 days to just 10 days threatens the basic due process rights those with refugee status on track for green cards. Please urge DHS and USCIS to immediately withdraw the 10-day termination notice to give people the right to have their case heard in court. Thanks.
