No on FISA- it’s not about security- it’s about American privacy!

Information garnered “accidentally” in the process of accessing other data is considered fair game. Extending legislation that allows data gathering to continue for the sole purpose of the “accidentally” collected info is *not*.
FISA can not and should not be further renewed for the purpose of spying on United States citizens’ international conversations. We know you’re listening- we always know. If we tell someone we’re interested in trying a new brand of cereal, an ad will eventually pop up on our phones for that cereal. It isn’t coincidence, and it isn’t a conspiracy. It’s a pattern of interceptive behaviors that tells WE THE PEOPLE that we lack privacy that we deserve- even in our own homes and cell devices.
Extending FISA does nothing but tell WE THE PEOPLE what you’re up to when we already know- and giving additional access to our privacy. We say no!
