Vote NO to save my sister's life

To: Sen. Klobuchar, Sen. Smith, Rep. Emmer

From: A constituent in Minneapolis, MN

July 2

My sister was a 40 year old woman, working and contributing to society. Then, two years ago, she started feeling ill. Ultimately, she was diagnosed with triple organ failure - both kidneys, and her liver. Suddenly she needs to go through dialysis 3-4 times a week, and is too weak to work, while she awaits a potential double-organ transplant. If she is kicked off of Medicaid, Medicare, or disability, she will die. Can you explain to my daughter and son - her niece and nephew - why the United States of America will not help their aunt survive long enough to see them grow up? Senators Klobuchar and Smith: I know that you are doing what you can. Representative Emmer: you really need to re-examine the direction your life has taken, because history will not be kind to you and your ilk if you do not change course and make amends.
