Good morning. I’m not a money person. I don’t understand my own finances let alone the American economy. That’s why I have a money manager and an accountant. That being said, everyone around me who does understand money is explaining to me that the current crypto legislation being discussed in Congress will actually weaken existing guidelines making it easier to launder money and strike it rich. This concerns me- not because I have crypto currency- but because I know that the president of the United States is heavily involved in crypto. I also know that guidelines for POTUS state that the commander in chief cannot have external means of financial gains… and that Trump is actually on course to leave the administration with far more assets than he arrived with. In fact, it is currently estimated that the Trump family has increased their combined assets to almost $6B while in office, and the proposed legislation could increase that number dramatically. We have a real poverty issue in the United States of America. We have people who have no access to clean drinking water, fresh food, healthcare, housing, etc., but the President has enough assets to cover those necessities for everyone in the WORLD. Say no to proposed crypto legislation. Say no to the trumps’ crypto empire!
