The Nexstar-Tegna merger should not be allowed to happen, regardless of the President's endorsement. This would put 80% of local media networks under the control of one company. This more than double, almost triple, the percentage of market share allowed by the FCC. This would not improve competition; it would stifle it and allow one company to control the narrative in "local" reporting. Prevent this merger from going through.
