Subject: Condemn Trump’s Dangerous Actions Regarding Ukraine and Russia I am writing to demand that you forcefully and publicly condemn Donald Trump’s continuous, dangerous interference in Ukraine’s defense against aggression. His recent actions are not just missteps; they represent an abomination of American values and a betrayal of democratic allies. Trump’s record on Ukraine and Russia is reprehensible and actively costing innocent lives: Undermining Ukrainian Defense: By slowing down vital Starlink communications, restricting critical intelligence sharing, and withholding promised defense support, he is severely crippling Ukraine’s capacity to protect its people and territory. Flouting Sanctions: Making side deals with Russia for diesel fuel while severe international sanctions remain in effect directly funds Vladimir Putin’s war machine and violates U.S. strategic commitments. Coercing Allies: Attempting to force Ukraine to stand down from striking Russian oil refineries weakens Ukraine’s strategic leverage while protecting Russian energy infrastructure from the consequences of its own illegal invasion. These actions embolden autocrats, compromise national security, and result in immediate human suffering on the ground. American leadership requires standing firmly with democratic nations fighting for their sovereignty, not cutting deals with aggressors. I urge you to stand up on the floor, issue a public statement, and call out this reckless behavior as the moral and strategic failure it is. Stand with Ukraine, hold those who aid aggressors accountable, and uphold the principles of democracy and international law.
