I'm writing to urge you, Rep. Joe Wilson, to vote against H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, that will cut funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, NPR and PBS. Money for NPR and PBS is well-spent on valuable news, information, and educational programming for the American public, especially in rural and underserved areas. Our state of SC will lose much needed resources for many of our poorer communities. Please work for the betterment of our state which you were elected to do.
