Do you all know what would be great? If our government weren't being run by unqualified, inept, internet trolls who spend more time making AI videos and memes than they do governing our country. Senators, your party is to blame for the government shutdown, the divisiveness, and the loss of our rights and democracy. Trump, instead of being presidential and trying to work with the Democrats, is ignoring the Democrats. Mike Johnson hasn't had the House in session in weeks. And the Senate? You all are aiding and abetting in the demise of our democracy and supporting a pedophile who posts videos of himself throwing feces on American citizens. This is beyond ridiculous. Congress needs to start doing their jobs. Checks and balances exist for a reason. And no matter what lies, chaos, and deflections, Trump and his administration put out there, no matter how many videos and memes, the American people aren't nearly as stupid as he seems to think they are. His approval rating is now at 37%. Clearly the No Kings protest got to him! But instead of listening to the American people, Trump throws further divisiveness out there. You know what Trump has done? He has proven that he does not care one bit about this country or its people. And he shows yet again that he is mentally unstable and he does not take his job as president seriously. Perhaps Congress should pay attention to what the American people want. We will be around for a lot longer than Trump will. Instead of showing loyalty to one unfit, mentally unstable man, where is your loyalty to the Constitution? Where is your loyalty to your constituents? Republicans, start doing your jobs. And to my Democratic House Representative, thank you for doing what you can to work for the betterment of our country, despite being surrounded by colleagues who refused to work across the aisles in a bipartisan way.
