DONT ALLOW BANKS TO VETO FREE SPEECH
To: Rep. Rouzer

July 25
The unchecked power of large financial institutions poses a threat to free speech and open discourse. We must take action to prevent these entities from wielding outsized influence as the self-appointed arbiters of acceptable speech and ideas. Reining in their ability to censor and control the flow of information is crucial to preserving our fundamental rights and democratic values. Regulatory measures should be implemented to ensure banking organizations cannot abuse their economic clout to stifle voices and perspectives they may find inconvenient or objectionable. A vibrant society demands the free exchange of diverse viewpoints, unimpeded by the whims of corporate gatekeepers. It is time to curtail the censorious overreach of these institutions and safeguard the open public square.
