My family of 6 depends on the affordable care act for our health insurance. Even with the subsidies, we pay a huge amount each month, which we are barely affording, along with rising property insurance, property taxes, skyrocketing increases in the cost of electricity, cost of food, etc. Our family believes in balanced budgets, but the proposed bill misses the true needs and issues of the working middle class- and one of the biggest needs is affordable medical care. Please be on the "people" side of that issue, on behalf of your constituents. The politicized statement currently being made will leave all of us who depend on the health marketplace in a forced position of determining which of the skyrocketing basic costs of living will have to drop to the detriment of our children's health and well-being.
