NPR Investigation on ICE Detention Center in Roxbury, NJ

Please respond to the recent NPR report that DHS is using a warehouse in Roxbury as one of its detention centers. This, along with all of the recent ICE attacks in our area, is incredibly distressing. The report itself (as we’ve already assumed) validates Stephen Miller and the Trump administration’s goal to enact cruel punishment to anyone captured during ICE raids. Not only have we been fighting to keep this detention center out of our area, but now they are ignoring the rules you have put in place and instead holding human beings in a warehouse, where there most definitely are not adequate facilities to maintain large groups of people. We see how ICE treats people on the streets, our nightmares can only imagine the horrors taking place in a warehouse. Please respond publicly to this NPR investigation as soon as possible.
