If you support HB60's passing during this legislative session, hell will rain down on you. Literally. Exposing toxic mercury and arsenic is not bad enough for you—but it will kill you. I know you people would never go around wearing gas masks, or any sort of mask considering I saw how lackluster you all acted during the pandemic, but the toxic cloud of chemicals is unavoidable no matter how rich you are. It will invade the foothills, the great basin, and well into the rockies. You think your mansion in Summit county is safe? Think again. The Salton Sea affected people thousands of miles away, and it wasn't even close to the size of the Great Salt Lake. Say goodbye to game birds, and all birds for that matter. Say goodbye to plants. Say goodbye to your grandparents, to your pets, to your disabled family members, to your Prophet who is bound to die sooner rather than later when he breathes this inversion. If you vote to permanently MANGLE the Great Salt Lake, expect unto you tenfold what you to our capital's NAMESAKE. It will kill all the constituents who pay your salaries and continue to vote for you—for what reason I don't know, considering all you have done for us up till now is sell our lands to greedy, unprofessional developers, kowtow to an administration that disagrees with the Church's values, and go after the culture war instead of fixing any of Utah's real issues. It will kill us and you. Even if the toxins aren't your concern, the ecological decimation that you will wreak across the continental United States and all of the Americas will scour your names for hundreds of millions of people. I will be sure to remind everyone I meet that the reason they have headaches, coughs, lung infections, dead gardens and pets—it'll be because of YOU (should you choose to pass HB60); Let's see how long it takes to turn a few million furious Utahns into the next Romanian National Salvation Front. Remember how Ceaușescu went out? That might be a kinder death than choking on toxic fumes.
