INDEPENDENT VOTER It’s just weird. Trump and Vance believe changing a name changes history. Trump putting his name on the Kennedy Center makes it a building honoring him. Changing the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America makes it OUR waters. Changing Lake Ontario to Lake America somehow erases its history and hurts Canada. The latest is their attempt to white wash the War with Iran by renaming it a military conflict. It doesn’t. It is a war. The world knows it. Every American knows it. The families of our dead and injured solders definitely know it. The white wash is just one more example of how Trump is disengaged from reality and how JD Vance will say anything no matter how ridiculous to please Trump. We need leaders with a firm understandings of reality. Everything all the time cannot be a political campaign. That is not governing. For Trump, facts just get in the way.
