Leaving NATO is not in the best interests of the United States of America. You know it. We know it. Europe knows it. Putin knows it. It is also not a unilateral decision. There are intense discussions to be had and many steps to be taken in order to release this country from the treaty. That’s where you come in. Do not cooperate with any anti-NATO sentiments or legislation or proposals. Use your office to encourage Europe to make this process difficult. Remember why Trump really wants out! He says it’s because NATO is just a paper tiger, but in reality, everyone knows it’s to make the U.S. more accessible to Russia. And why? Because he wants to repair his bromance with Putin. Besties or not, he doesn’t get to sell out American people’s safety for beers on the white house patio with Putin. Period. Full stop.
