As a constituent in your district, I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the security of Nevada’s upcoming elections and to ask what proactive steps our Democratic leaders are taking to ensure our electoral process remains safe, secure, and immune to unlawful interference. During the 2024 election cycle in Nevada, I personally observed and documented activities involving third-party interference and Elon Musk that I believe breached proper election standards. Despite reporting these findings through formal channels, I have received no response or follow-up. Given this lack of resolution, I am gravely concerned that similar tactics will be deployed in the upcoming election. Furthermore, I am deeply concerned about broader threats to the physical integrity of our ballots and the safety of our polling places. Specifically, I request that your office clarify the state’s preparations regarding the following critical security issues: Securing Physical Ballots: What legal and physical security protocols, including law enforcement escorts and emergency court injunction plans, are in place to prevent unauthorized groups or federal overreach from seizing or disrupting local ballot counts? Law Enforcement Oversight: How are local law enforcement and election officials coordinating to actively protect ballot drop boxes, polling sites, and central counting facilities from physical threats or disruption? Protecting Polling Places: Federal and state statutes strictly prohibit voter intimidation. How will Nevada state and county election officials ensure that federal immigration enforcement (ICE) or other entities do not operate near polling sites or intimidate eligible voters? Investigating Reports: What mechanism exists to ensure constituent reports of third-party interference—such as those I submitted regarding 2024—are thoroughly investigated? Our state’s democracy relies on voters feeling safe when casting their ballots and having total confidence that every vote will be counted securely. I have documented specific details and evidence regarding what I witnessed in 2024, which I am ready to provide to your legislative team or an assigned investigator.
