I hope this message finds you swiftly. I am writing to urge you to take immediate action to begin the impeachment process for President Donald Trump, based on the serious grounds of treason as outlined in the Constitution. The President's actions, specifically his illegal and unconstitutional executive orders, have undermined the integrity of our nation’s laws and governance. These actions not only violate the Constitution but have put the United States at risk, threatening our national security and the foundation of our democracy. I refer to the following sections of the U.S. Constitution as grounds for impeachment: Article 2, Section 4: "The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on impeachment for, and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." Article 1, Section 9, Clause 8: "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State." Article 2, Section 1, Clause 7: "The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them." These sections highlight the severe consequences for any person who abuses the office of the president in a manner that compromises the nation’s laws, sovereignty, and security. President Trump’s executive orders, many of which have violated constitutional limits, and other acts have clearly breached his oath of office to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." I ask that you consider the gravity of these violations and support immediate efforts to impeach the President. His actions are incompatible with the duties and responsibilities of the office he holds, and it is imperative that Congress upholds its responsibility to ensure that no individual is above the law. You have a sworn duty to your constituents who put you where you are, and who feed your families. The actions you take in this time will be noted in history. You get to decide which side you’ll be remembered for. Are you for the people? Or will you continue to cower and bend over for a dictator.
